Sights often Seen, Rarely Noticed.
From Massachusetts to Milwaukee to Denver to the small towns in Colorado to San Francisco, for over 20 years I've been seeking subjects that rekindle my child-like imagination - making me wonder what these places and things were like in their heyday, what they are like now, and what will happen to them in the future. Add some warm sunlight and deep shadows, creating even more drama, and a new place quickly becomes a favorite subject.
Ironically, many of the subjects that grab my attention are things some people see every day. Maybe it's an overpass on their way to work, or an old watering hole they've visited many times, or a retired railroad car sitting on a siding - I'm passionate for the history in these subjects - the same subjects some consider eyesores. Perhaps it goes to show the old adage "One person's trash, is another's treasure," is really true.
I hope you enjoy visiting these subjects with me and perhaps you'll recognize some of the same intriguing characteristics that attracted me in the first place.

Quality and workmanship are very important to me. I use the finest artist grade materials in creating my original paintings, and all paintings are custom-framed by professionals. Likewise, archival grade media and pigment inks are used in creating my prints - both open and limited editions - and limited edition prints are numbered, titled and personally signed by me. Whether you purchase a painting or print, the work should be colorful and stable for generations.
